In fiction, I’m looking for addictive New Adult novels that will make me stay up until 1:00 am to finish them. I’m most interested in New Adult novels that push the envelope, develop uniquely flawed characters, and aren’t afraid to challenge the more narrow definitions of “New Adult.” I also love tear-jerking commercial women’s fiction with a great story at the center of it; if you think it will make me cry, send it my way! Right now, I’d especially love to find a compelling romantic suspense series that deftly blends and balances both elements with hot alpha males and women that can kick some butt themselves; if the heroine ends up saving the day, even better! I’m always looking for historical fiction, romance, psychological suspense, and cozy mysteries as well.
In the nonfiction realm, I’m interested in self-help, mind/body/spirit, inspirational memoir, health and wellness, narrative nonfiction focusing on food-related topics, and a limited number of accessible cookbooks.
