I am forever a fan of: forbidden romances; reimagined myths, classics, or fables; love triangles; stories told in alternating POVs; stories told in Before/After; evocative settings like the South, the beach, or the contemporary West; stories set during summer; stories with surprises and mystery.
My favorite genres are realistic contemporary, fantasy, magical realism, romance, and mystery.
