I love YA, NA, and adult contemporary romance, category romance, and romantic thrillers. Stories driven by tropes (enemies to lovers, mistaken identity, forced proximity, etc.) with fun and/or unexpected meet-cutes and swoonworthy heroes shoot straight to the top of my slush pile. As for heat level, I only acquire steamy adult romance, but sweet YA and NA frequently captures my heart. I have a weakness for all things dark and angsty. I’m always on the hunt for twisty YA or NA thrillers with a strong romantic subplot, or category romances that leave readers dizzy with emotion.
